Placebo are on the road with RE:CREATED — their own reworking of the 1996 debut, made from the original master tapes and released on 19 June 2026. Thirty-six dates, from Porto at the end of September to Cardiff in the first week of December. The full list is below.
This address is also an archive: the site that covered Placebo's Moscow show on 26 October 2016, restored page by page. That part starts further down.
At a glance
The dates
Two dates have already been played: the Royal Albert Hall in London on 28 March and Zermatt Unplugged in Switzerland on 11 April. What follows is the rest of it. One line matters more here than anywhere else — the tour plays Hamburg on 26 October 2026, ten years to the day after the Moscow show this site was built for.
Dates as the band announced them, reported by NME; the Nottingham venue is named as its own box office lists it. This site sells nothing and links to no seller: check the band's own channels before you buy.
The archive
Everything from here down is a restored site. In 2016 Placebo brought the 20 Years tour to Moscow — 26 October, Olimpiysky — and someone built a site for that one night and nothing else. Five of its pages have been rebuilt from the Internet Archive and are served again from here.

What the night was
The 20 Years of Placebo tour marked two decades since the band's platinum first album, and it came to Moscow with a track list that had not been played in more than ten years. That is the whole pitch, and the site makes no attempt to dress it up as anything else.
What makes it worth a page of its own is the reason those songs had disappeared. Brian Molko had said in 2006 that he would not perform them again. Ten years later he changed his mind — and the site quotes his reasoning as the single most interesting fact it has.
Time to bring the forgotten legends back to life.
Brian Molko, as the site quotes him. He also promised a pile of new material and surprises for the fans.
All of that comes from a single page of this site: its write-up of the Moscow show, which you can read here in full.
When it was written
The page is published early — early enough that it says, in as many words, that tickets have not yet gone on sale and that orders are piling up anyway. That detail dates the text more precisely than any timestamp: it was written in the gap between the announcement and the box office opening, when the only thing anyone had was a date.
It reads like the marketing it partly is. There is a line about the doors of Olimpiysky standing open and another warning that there might be no tickets left tomorrow. Both are the site's words, not ours, and both are still on the page.
The other thing it covers
Alongside the concert, the site runs one piece of band news: the cover of a new Placebo release has appeared on the internet — a compilation and a new mini-album. "Waiting for the release," says the front page, and that is the last thing it has to say.
Where to start
The whole site fits on one screen. It came back out of the Wayback Machine; its text is the site's own and stays in Russian, the language it was written in, and each page has a new layout and an English summary. Some images did not survive, and a link to a page the archive lost is left as plain text.
The rest of the network
This is one date in a network of sites the same author ran. The others are back online too — including two more nights in this same hall.
